The impact you'll make

The Clean Key Account Technologist (KAT) will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturingrelationships with our key customers. This position requires a deep understanding ofsemiconductor processes and equipment, as well as the ability to provide technical expertiseand support to ensure customer satisfaction and success.

What you'll do

• Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary technical point of contact.
• Priority Alignment: Drive alignment between account teams and clean product line on priorities for market penetrations and defenses.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with customers to optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and performance.
• Product Demonstrations: Organize product demonstrations and presentations to showcasethe capabilities and benefits of Lam Research technologies.
• Feedback Loop: Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to drive continuousimprovement and innovation in our products and services.
• Training and Education: Provide training and educational resources to customers and account teams to enhance their understanding and utilization of Lam Research technologies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and product development teams to align customer needs with company objectives.

• Education: Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field with a strong technical foundation and extensive experience in semiconductor process and manufacturing technologies.
• Industry Experience: Over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including positions with a leading semiconductor manufacturer and a global semiconductor equipment supplier. Extensive experience supporting advanced technology development, yield improvement, process integration, and customer-facing business activities.
• Customer & Regional Expertise: Proven experience working closely with semiconductor customers across Asia, supporting technology roadmaps, manufacturing ramp-ups, and strategic business initiatives directly at customer sites.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required. Additionally strong communication skills in Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
• Travel: Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.

What We're Offering

This position will be occupied in Villach. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry (https://www.metalltechnischeindustrie.at/fileadmin/content/Dokumente/Kollektivvertrag/KV-2025_2026/FMTI_Mindesgehaltstabelle_2025.pdf) in occupation group G. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
